Your beard is a symbol of leadership, masculinity, and power. This is why many men prefer growing their beards and grooming them, no matter how high maintenance beards can be. Some are blessed with beards that grow fast, while some wait for months and even years to get the beard that they want. If you are the latter, then you will surely benefit from the information below.

Tip 1: Occasional Grooming

For you to achieve a beard that is thick, it would be best to avoid trimming or reshaping your facial hair often. The best thing that you can do is to prevent grooming it for days, and occasionally groom it when needed. This will help your hair to grow faster and of course thicker.

Tip 2: Massage Your Beard

Of course, your beard needs some pampering too. It would be best to use good massage oil or something that is homemade. You can mix jojoba oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil and seven drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Warm the oil in the microwave for a couple of seconds and apply the oil throughout your beard. Massage it is a circular motion and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Once done, you can start rinsing the oil off on your beard using lukewarm water.

You can also try out beard oils on the market today, as they are growing in popularity because of their effectiveness. Make sure that you are choosing the right one, to avoid regretting your decision on trying something that won’t work.

Tip 3: Consume Biotin Supplements

Biotin or Vitamin B7 is another essential supplement when it comes to hair growth. This, of course, includes your beard. If you are not a fan of taking a supplement, worry no more because Biotin is also found in raw egg yolks and nuts. For people who are fine with taking supplements, then 2.5mg of biotin every single day will surely help your beard to grow faster and thicker.

Step 4: Exfoliating Your Skin

The last tip would be exfoliating your skin. Start using a mild exfoliant for your face and make sure that you are using something that is made especially for men. In this way, you can effectively remove dead skin cells which will help in stimulating new hair growth.

Follow the tips above, and you will surely get that full beard that you have been dreaming of. Now, if you have been trying for a couple of months or so, then it would be best to ask a doctor about it. But remember that not everyone can grow a beard since not all men have the genetics to grow a full and thick beard.
